We get it. Summer is for fun!
Kids want to check out and hang out. And our goal is not to take away from the joys of summer but to provide balance. We want to send students back to the classroom with confidence, feeling excited to show off all that they’ve learned, and eager to learn even more! The key to this is to avoid the summer slide.
What is the summer slide?
The summer slide impacts younger children most. That’s because so much of elementary school is dedicated to building foundational skills. Whether it’s learning to read or write, or mastering math facts and arithmetic, these skills require practice and reinforcement to really stick. Yet we know all too well how difficult it can be to get your child to practice!
We promise to make learning fun at camp and beyond!
